The 2020-21 season will take Solenn´ Lavanant Linke to new and already known places: She will make her debut at the Teatro Real Madrid, where she will work once again with Christoph Loy, this time in the role of the KITCHEN BOY in “Rusalka”. This is followed by two leading roles at the Lucerne Theatre: CENDRILLON by Massenet and CARMEN in the version by Peter Brooke in the Rotes Haus industrial hall in Lucerne. In addition, she will give another SONG RECITAL with her pianist Todd Camburn in the recently reopened Stadtcasino Basel.
After completing her studies, she became a member of the Basel Theatre’s opera studio in 2009, and was then directly onboarded into the ensemble. Until the summer of 2015, she was able to develop her artistic skills in a variety of ways under the leadership of Georges Delnon and Dietmar Schwarz. The house was voted Opera House of the Year twice in a row during this period.
At the Basel Theatre, Solenn’ Lavanant Linke built up a broad repertoire and worked with directors such as Calixto Bieito, David Bösch, Benedikt von Peter, Arpad Schilling, Elmar Goerden and Armin Petras. Roles that she embodied in Basel included CHERUBINO, IDAMANTE, DORABELLA, KITCHEN BOY, VARVARA, CHARLOTTE, MARGUERITE and LA MUSE/NICKLAUSSE.

The title role in Calixto Bieto’s production of CARMEN, and the tragic figure of MÉDÉE by Charpentier with Nicolas Brieger and under the musical direction of Andrea Marcon were very special adventures and great successes.
She was also invited by other theaters and festivals. For instance, she appeared at the Aix-en-Provence Festival in 2013 as IPPOLITA in “Elena” by Cavalli with Leonardo Garcia Alarcon, and at the Schwetzingen SWR Festival in 2011 as MERIONE in “Telemaco”. She sang PENELOPE in “Il ritorno d'Ulisse in patria” in Lausanne, CYRUS in Handel's oratorio “Belshazzar” in the Zurich Tonhalle, the CHILD in “L'enfant et les sortilèges” at the Opéra de Lausanne and OTTAVIA in “L'incoronazione di Poppea” at the Festival d'Ambronay. She has also appeared in various roles at the Grand Théâtre de Genève and the Theater Bern, including LA PRIMA TROMBA in “La prova d’orchestra”, DOROTHÉE in Massenet's “Cendrillon” and MÈRE JEANNE in “Dialogues des Carmélites”.
Her repertoire also includes numerous concert parts and songs.
Her first recording was released under the Ambronay label: DIDO in "Dido and Aeneas" by Purcell under the baton of Leonardo Garcia Alarcon. This CD was nominated for the MIDEM CLASSICAL AWARDS 2011.
